The third instalment of the ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ franchise has long been awaited by fans since whispers began doing the rounds these past years.

The film that stars Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in lead roles, was in the headlines when the latter reportedly said that the film’s script is almost ready and that the project was ready to go on floors in 2019.

The hype and anticipation surrounding the film post the actor’s comment has prompted him to clear the air about the same.

Stating that his comment was “not true,” Arshad said that there was no date or time for when the film will go on floors.

He went on to explain that during his last chat Rajkumar Hirani, the director mentioned that the script is being worked on and is going at a brisk pace.

He added that the team is hopeful about starting the film’s shoot by the end of 2019.

However, he said that these were merely their dreams and desires, which could or could not happen.
