20 children who are diagnosed with cancer received monetary support of $15,000 and Christmas gifts from Women in Business at the CWM Hospital in Suva today

Christmas came early for 20 children who are diagnosed with cancer.

They received Christmas gifts from Women in Business at the CWM Hospital in Suva today.

While receiving monetary support of $15,000 and gifts, Consultant Paediatrician, Dr Laila Sauduadua says the continuous assistance is always a lifesaver.

“For the past years, we’ve used in getting drugs from abroad when they are needed and likewise if they need other investigations that are not available here.”

Women in Business President, Dr. Nur Bano says it’s a privilege to support the children.

However, only three children received their gifts today as the others were under active treatment.
