A 20-year-old man charged with drug-related offenses pleaded guilty to his charges today in the Suva High Court.

Nelson Vakarorogo appeared before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.

The accused pleaded guilty to one count of being in possession of illicit drugs and one count of possessing property from proceeds of crime.

The court heard that on 15th June last year, he was found in possession of 905 grams of marijuana in Nasinu.

On the same day, he was also found with $3, 900 in cash which was from the sale of the drugs.

Judge Goundar has asked the accused to think about his plea again.

The case will be recalled on February 26th for facts, mitigation and sentencing.

The accused has been further remanded.
