A 25-year-old Hotel Technician who assaulted his girlfriend after he was intoxicated with alcohol, was bound over with a sum of three hundred dollars by the Magistrates Court, in Sigatoka.

Ravuama Sego pleaded guilty to one count of assault, after returning from a nightclub with the victim on Saturday night.

Prosecution confirms the offence occurred when the girlfriend wanted the car keys from the accused, and he refused to give it to her.

The man was instructed by the Court to keep the peace for the next twelve months.
