Construction conference attracts overseas suppliers

The Construction Industry Council continues to receive registrations leading up to its inaugural conference in Sigatoka next month.

With the theme “Building for the Future Today” the conference will focus on issues such as training, licensing of builders, proper standards and cyclone certification.
CIC President Gordon Jenkins says they also aim to come up with solid resolutions that will lead to substantive action and real solutions.

Jenkins adds that as a cross cutting multi-billion dollar industry, with critical linkages across other sectors, the upcoming conference will shed more light on the overall economy.

He says interest in their trade show which will run parallel to the three day conference has also attracted several major overseas supplier brands

The event will be from 14th to the 16th of June.
