Easter is not only about the dead body of Jesus coming back to life but it is also about the peace that followed the resurrection of Christ.
Catholic Church Archbishop, Peter Loy Chong says while Easter is a Christian tradition, the Church calls on everyone to become agents of peace.
Archbishop Loy Chong says peace is central to the message of Easter like how the disciples experienced peace through the spirit, teachings and principles of Jesus.
The head of the Catholic Church says there is no peace when there is war and violence, when people cannot exercise their freedom, and when human rights are violated.
The Church is calling on a nationwide approach lead by politicians to bring about a culture becoming servants of peace.
