The accident occurred at Nabeka Stretch past Weilagi Village.

Twenty people were rushed to the Waiyevo Hospital in Taveuni following an accident earlier today.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro, confirms the accident occurred at Nabeka Stretch past Weilagi Village.

It is alleged the bus collided with a ten-wheeler truck carrying cement blocks.

Naisoro confirms of the twenty victims, sixteen have been discharged while four are still being treated.

Investigation continues.
