Diabetes Fiji is urging parents to do the right thing by making sure their children eat the right type of food and live a healthy lifestyle.
One of the participants at the blue breakfast today, Litea Tekei highlighted that if a person is Diabetic, they’re responsible of looking after their own wellbeing.
Tekei says the blue breakfast was a learning platform for her and her family.

“I think this experience will benefit me financially so when I go out for shopping I would know what to buy and the content and the calories that the food contain.”
Along with the blue breakfast, Diabetes Fiji also conducted a donation to assist underprivileged children with type 1 diabetes.
Blue breakfast is aimed at raising more awareness on Diabetes.
