People from 21 districts in the province of Ba are expected to raise $95, 000 this year which will go towards the running of their provincial office.

Roko Tui Ba Josefa Toganivalu says there are 107 villages in the province and the money will be collected according to the number of people in each village.

Toganivalu says if the target is not achieved, then it will be carried forward to the following year.

He says the Government also sets aside a budget for the 14 provincial councils.

The Ba chiefs and members of the Ba Provincial council will meet in Lautoka in September.

Toganivalu says development projects in the province are high on the agenda.
