The Fiji Revenue and Customs Services has made an application in the High court to seize and sell the yacht belonging to Australian national John Nikolic who is facing drug related charges.

John is charged with two counts each of importing an illicit drug with two alternative counts of possessing an illicit drug.

He is charged with a count each of possessing arms and ammunition without holding an arms license.

He was charged after drugs, cash, arms, and ammunition were found on board his yacht the ‘Shenanigans’ in Nadi last year.

John was arrested after authorities allegedly seized 13 bricks of cocaine weighing 15 kilograms as well as ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of $30 million from their yacht.

FBC news has been reliably informed that the yacht is in detention at present.

Meanwhile, his wife, Yvette who was jointly charged has been acquitted of all charges laid against her while her husband’s case will be called tomorrow.
