Seven people are now confirmed dead including a one month old baby, who died in Nadi.

Also included amongst the casualties is a three-year-old, who died in Nadroga after drowning in flood waters.

Information Ministry Permanent Secretary Sharon Smith Johns confirms the toddler was swimming in flood waters when she died.

DISMAC reports also state that four people are still missing, including two from Nadi and one each from Rakiraki and Nadi.
