439 building permits for construction work were issued in the September quarter of 2018.
According to the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, these permits were valued at $102.3 million.
When compared to the June quarter the number of building permits issued declined by 0.5%.

Whereas a comparison to the September 2017 quarter shows an increase of 6.6%.
A further analysis of the stats reveals that the central and eastern division accounted for 70.8%.
Western Division made up 25.9% while the Northern Division accounted for 3.3%.
