Fiji strengthens security enforcement with US

Fiji and the United States continue to strengthen their partnership in border security, cyber security, defence, and law enforcement.

This was reaffirmed during a meeting between Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga and United States Department of Justice Cyrena Khoury yesterday.

Turaga highlighted a number of areas of mutual interest between the two countries, including strengthening cyber security initiatives and protecting Fijians against cyber threats.

Khoury emphasizes the United States commitment to further enhancing and strengthening the bilateral relationship with Fiji.

Since 2019, Khoury has served as a regional attorney in the Office of International Affairs of the U.S. Department of Justice.
