USP Raiders Manager, Wila Nailatimate is grateful for the new sporting kits donated by the Fiji National Rugby League.
The kit includes training uniforms and rugby ball.
Nailatimate says this is a good boost for the team, as previously they had only one ball to train with.
“There’s not much focus on the women’s team as much as we would like but we are really grateful to NRL and FNRL for the support they have given us. We just got a new training kit and I was telling Seni that we’ve only had just one ball.”
She adds this will boost the team’s preparation as they are now focusing on advancing to the semi-finals.
Nailatimate says the players are well established now when compared to last year as they are better versed with the bylaws of the game.
The Fiji National Rugby League gave new training kits to women in the league last week Friday.
