President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s White House security clearance has been downgraded, US media has reported.
Curbing Mr Kushner’s access is part of a wider crackdown on White House aides who have the highest-level interim – but not permanent – clearances.
They were informed in a memo on Friday that their clearances would be dropped from the Top Secret/SCI-level to the Secret level.

The White House has faced questions over Mr Kushner’s access to the President’s Daily Brief, a top secret intelligence report.
