Women's team to create history

August 30, 2018 12:11 am

The Vodafone Fiji football women’s team is on the verge of creating history when they meet American Samoa in the final OFC Nations Cup qualifiers at Churchill Park today.

Coach Marika Rodu says there will be no second chance for the team and they need to win in-order to qualify for the Nations Cup in New Caledonia later in the year.

“We can’t draw, we can’t lose so we need to be more persistent. I think we lost possession because we forced the game to much. We need to maintain good organization at the same time we can’t afford to be disorganized in counter attacks.”
