The West Touch Rugby team will be fielding some fresh talent to take on the Eastern side in the East/West Touch Rugby competition next month.
West coach, Trevor Cleaning says the play-offs will be an eye opener for the newcomers.
“This will give our players a good chance to test themselves against people who’ve experienced not only international matches but World Cup, which is on a new level.”
The Western touch side will field 16 players in each of the categories from the 35’s and over, 30’s, two teams in the men’s open, women’s open, Mixed open and Under-17 teams.
The one-day tournament will be held at Namaka Grounds in Nadi on 14th November.
