Fijian golfer Vijay Singh fresh from hits outing at the US PGA Championships, arrives into the country today for the Fiji International, which gets underway on Thursday.

Singh finished tied for the 36th position in the tournament won by world number one, Rory McIlroy, yesterday.

Singh, a former world number one himself, will hold a press conference tomorrow.

He will be joined by South Africa’s Nick Price, who is already in the country.

The players who are already in the country have been practising at the Natadola course as they gear up for the inaugural tournament.

The tournament takes place from Thursday to Saturday at Natadola in Nadi.
