The Vodafone Fiji under-20 team held the Tongans to a 15-all draw, after the first round of the 2017 Oceania Rugby trophy that was held at Lautoka’s Churchill Park yesterday.

Apisalome Bogidrau and Poniani Batiniu scored two tries for Fiji.

On the other hand, Tonga was try less during the match but gained their points through conceded penalty goals.

The second match between the two teams is on Saturday.

The winner will then qualify to the Oceania Championship and the Under 20 Rugby World Cup next year.
