Vodafone Fiji 7s rep, Pio Tuwai is among three players who have not made it into camp in Deuba today.
Vodafone Fiji 7s manager, Ropate Kauvesi says Tuwai is recovering from an illness following the team’s return from the Sydney 7s last week.
The other two players in the extended squad who have not made it to training camp are Filipe Daugunu and Kaveni Dabenaise.
Daugunu is believed to have taken up a rugby league contract in Australia while Dabenaise, a former national Under-20 rep, is sorting out some personal issues before he joins camp.
The 20-member extended squad underwent a fitness test at Uprising Beach Resort ground this afternoon.
Fiji is pooled with Argentina, Samoa and France in the Las Vegas 7s, which will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
