Tsitsipas beats Roger Federer in fourth round of Australian Open

January 21, 2019 10:51 am

In pursuit of his dream to become Greece’s first Grand Slam Tennis singles champion, Stefanos Tsitsipas was glued to his computer screen.

Watching YouTube footage of his idol Roger Federer was one method he chose as he sought to become one of the world’s best players.

From studying him on YouTube to beating him at the Australia Tennis Open, Tsitsipas says it’s a dream come true.

“It’s a dream come true for me just facing him is a huge thing. I mean winning at the end, there is no words and I cannot describe it you know.”

He will play Spain’s Roberto Bautista Agut in the quarterfinal.
