Team to start arriving this weekend for championships

The participating teams for the Oceania football Under-19 Championships start arriving into the country from this weekend.

Apart from hosts Vodafone Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and American Samoa will take part in the week-long tournament.

Solomon Islands and PNG will arrive on Saturday, while the rest of the teams will be here by Wednesday.

The competition gets underway at the ANZ Stadium in Suva on Friday with Fiji taking on American Samoa at 2.30pm.

Vanuatu plays New Caledonia at 5pm before the Solomons clash with Papua New Guinea at 7.30pm.
