Fiji Airways Flying Fijians prop Kalivati Tawake is expected to play a huge role in the front-row when they kick off their Northern Hemisphere campaign against Scotland on Sunday.

Flying Fijians coach John McKee says Tawake has been responding well and will be a good replacement for Peni Ravai who will miss out the test matches due to a knee surgery.

“I think Kalivati Tawake a classic example and a mobile force in the front row. He certainly loves to get his hands on the ball and he understands the game well. Tawake is player who I hope to see carrying the ball a lot in the game.”

The Flying Fijians face Scotland at 3.30am on Sunday.
