Despite the overcast conditions, 15 teams converged at Vunivivi Hill as the Tailevu Netball Association kicked off its weekly competition this morning
The Association is now searching for better grounds to improve their performance.

Association vice president, Losana Bici, says the teams have been training hard however; the unavailability of good grounds has affected the team’s performance.

“We are trying our best to reach that standard where Suva, Nasinu, Lautoka and Nadi are and Tailevu is coming up. We as the new committee are trying our best to have this standard as the same as the other associations”.

Meanwhile, the Tailevu competitions have been called off due to bad weather conditions.
