Defending champion Newline Chemical Suva has won it’s opening match at Sangam football tournament.

The hosts beat Ba 2-0 with goals from Daniel Dass and Subramani Sami.

Suva looked a class of its own and laced with the likes of Dinesh Mudaliar, Sandeep Nair, Robert Nair and Madahwan Gounder.

Games continue at Buckhurst and Bidesi Park.

Other games completed so far in the senior grade, Navoli beat Nacovi 1-0, while Varoko beat Vuda1-0.
