Suva soccer happy with result

September 2, 2012 6:44 pm

Suva coach Gurjit Singh says their 1-all draw with Ba yesterday was good enough.

Despite not getting the desired victory and maximum three points against the Men in Black, Singh says he’s happy they’ve maintained their position on the points table.

“It was a good game and I think both teams played well. We had more scoring opportunities but didn’t make use of them but I salute the players for a good effort.”

The draw keeps Ba at the top of the Fiji Sun/ GP Batteries National Football League points table.

In other matches played yesterday Nadi hammered Tavua-5-0 while Navua and Lautoka drew 2-all.
