Stallions end Nadi's unbeaten run

The BLK Nadroga side ended Jacks Nadi’s seven-match winning streak in the Skipper Cup competition, with a 17-15 victory at Prince Charles Park yesterday.

Former Flying Fijians number 8, Nemani Nagusa played a crucial role in the Stallions victory and scored one of the visitor’s two tries.

The Jetsetters managed a try each to star find, Setareki Tuicuvu and Vilive Aria with Cyril Reece adding a penalty and conversion kick.

The result means Suva are the only unbeaten team in the competition after the first eight rounds.

In other matches, Northland scored a bonus point 24 – 17 win over Macuata, Vatukoula defeated Ovalau 26-8 and Namosi thumped Tailevu 40-5.
