Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber has been advising his players to set their focus on the next leg of the series.

Baber says the players are aware of the pressure they’re under as Fijian ambassadors, representing the country wherever they go.

“As young men, you want to think you’re doing right for your country, they come under a huge amount of scrutiny and pressure. These are lads that have until recently have been playing here only in Fiji.”

Baber is expected to name his 13 member squad for the Las Vegas and Vancouver 7s this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Fiji faces Scotland in its opening match at 11.22am next Saturday, and will then battle Wales at 2.23pm before meeting Australia at 7.52am next Sunday in its last pool match.
