Nareki expects a huge turnout at the Hamilton 7s

Fijian link, All Blacks winger Jona Nareki expects a huge turnout at the Hamilton 7s which kicks off tomorrow in New Zealand.

Nareki says they have promoted the tournament well this week and believes All Blacks fans will come in numbers to support them win the title.

My roomie Sione Molia actually, he has been asking a bit too much to be honest but apparently Jo Ravouvou has got all the tickets so being able to have him as the plug and hopefully he gives some tickets away to us.

New Zealand 7s utility Sione Molia says they are aware of the expectation from fans and hope to perform to their level best.

“Anybody who says there is no pressure in your home tournament would be lying. But I guess that’s the good thing about it, we love the pressure and we are actually looking forward to it.”

New Zealand is pooled with Spain, Canada and Japan.

Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s begins its campaign against Wales at 10.52am tomorrow then faces Argentina at 2.42pm and plays Australia in its last pool match at 6.52pm.

The Cup quarter-final begins at 10.36am on Sunday, Cup semifinal starts at 3.16pm and the final is scheduled for 7.10pm.
