The Flying Fijians at the sand dunes in Sigatoka
Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Head Coach John McKee says he is pleased with the player’s performance during training.
The Flying Fijians continue preparations for their clash with the Maori All Blacks next Saturday in Suva.
The players had their training session this morning at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes which also gave an opportunity for McKee to gauge player’s fitness level.
“Look you can see the players had a lot of enthusiasm coming here which is important and they really enjoyed coming here. You watch how the players react here as it’s a bit tougher than running on grass, so you see they are also doing different things and they develop some mental toughness to endure when you are really tired which you can push yourself to go that little extra.”

McKee says he was happy with how the squad worked together at the dunes as they encouraged each other to complete the tasks.
The side will now break for camp before they get together again on Monday.
