“It’s not easy to bring this amount of players, a total number of 1,290 children budding rugby players who are here for the next four days and we’re expecting a lot of really constructive clean rugby, and most of all we are here to enjoy as we bring together the best, this is the biggest ever gathering of Kaji Rugby competition”

Meanwhile,  Fiji Primary School Rugby Union President Owen Ratumaikoro says they had been facing challenges building up to the game, however, this did not stop them from finding a solution so students can enter this year’s competition.

“Even though there some last minute hick ups as far as the funds were concern, fortunately the funds arrived yesterday so we’re able to put up the programme today, the main thing is the boys enjoyment and that is the main thing we are looking at”

The 2019 Vodafone Kaji Rugby is currently being played at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka and will wrap up later this Friday.
