The Rewa football side will be banking on their Vodafone Under 20 players in the semifinal against Jedis Suva in the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament.
Iosefo Verevou, Garish Prasad, Setareki Hughes and Tevita Waranivalu are the four players from the Under 20 team in the Delta Tigers team.
Rewa coach Marika Rodu says they were missed in the Fiji FACT tournament and have proven their worth in the pool matches of this tournament.
“They know that they could have been the key factors if they were there in the Fiji FACT but they understand as well that their presence also attracts a lot of expectations from fans and officials for them to perform well and secure us a final berth.”
In the second semi-final Rewa plays Jedi’sSuva at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park at 7pm on Friday.
Ba will play Jacks Nadi in the first semifinal this Thursday at 7pm at Govind Park.
The final will be played in Nausori on Sunday.
