Players to undergo drug tests at Fiji FACT

May 21, 2018 4:10 am

Fiji Football Association, Chief Executive, Mohammed Yusuf says they will continue with the drug test at the Vodafone Fiji FACT.

Taking the prime example of suspended Lautoka football striker Valerio Nawatu, Yusuf says the players need to learn about playing a clean game.

“As far as the President Rajesh Patel and the board is concerned any player getting caught will have to face the brunt of the law. As you know there are seven players at the moment are not playing football because of these habits and one of the famous ones is Valerio Nawatu. The warning is to all the teams we will be doing about 48 to 60 tests.”
