Plans for celebrations underway

The Lautoka City Council has confirmed to host the celebration of the Coca Cola Games victory by Natabua High School and Jasper Williams High, early next month.

Chief Executive Officer, Jone Nakauvadra says they have started meeting and organizing plans straight after the games, last week.

He adds the public can expect a mega celebration as the triumph by the two schools was for the whole of the western division.

Nakauvadra says the council will be meeting with the ministry of education and principals from both schools to finalize the details, this Friday.

Meanwhile, Natabua became the first school from the western division to win the Boy’s title after scooping 17 Gold, 11 Silver and 5 Bronze and Jasper retained the Girl’s title for the third year in a row after winning 21 Gold, 9 Silver and 6 Bronze.

The celebration will be held at the Carnival Ground in Lautoka on May 16th.
