Nadroga coach Esala Nauga will guide Army in the 2014 Sukuna Bowl Challenge against the Police, next week.
The Stallions rugby mentor who guided the team to scoop the Skipper Cup and retain the HFC Bank Farebrother-Sullivan Challenge Trophy this season will line up against most of his own players in the Police side.
Co-Chairman of the Tournament, Lieutenant Colonel Alipate Vosaicake says this will boast the performance of the team.
“He is the coach of the RFMF team in the Sukuna Bowl this year. Even though we are playing against the Nadroga studded police team, but that has been happening over the years and that’s no surprise to us. The harder they come and the harder they fall.”
Players such as Nadroga skipper Setefano Samoca, Etonia Naba, Mesulame Soga, Mitieli Nacagilevu and Seremaia Naureure are likely to feature for Police and against their own provincial coach.
The Sukuna Bowl rugby match will be played next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
