The Nadi football side will start preparations for the Pacific Football Cup next week.

Nadi has won the tournament for the past two years and want to keep hold of the trophy.

Nadi football president, Navneeda Gounder, says his players performed gallantly at the Courts Inter District Championship without four seasonal players and are looking good ahead of the Pacific Cup.

There is a possibility of Munit Krishna returning from injury but Gounder says he has a good squad even if Krishna doesn’t recover in time.

The 2014 Pacific Cup will be held in Sydney from the 26-30 of next month.
