McKee impressed with local players

Expect three local players, hooker Mesulame Dolokoto, lock Albert Tuisue and half-back Frank Lomani to be named in the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians match day 23 against France in the their final Northern Hemisphere test match on Sunday.

Flying Fijians Coach John McKee has praised the three players and says they have been very impressive in the last two tests.

“Albert Tuise was our best player last weekend and he really had a good work rate and some good defensive work plus some really good tackling. Mesulae Dolokoto he played really well and made some good runs. Frank Lomani has really been our number one half back at the tour.”

The Flying Fijians face France in its final test match at 9am on Sunday.

McKee impressed with local players

Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee says local players have been impressive in the June Test series.

McKee has introduced 11 new players to the squad over the three games and believes they have lived up to expectations.

“Increases the depth of players are currently playing at this level and also for players who have shown good form through the Skipper Cup and the Warriors programme have got their own reward.”

Savenaca Rawaca will debut against Georgia today while Savenaca Tabakanalagi, Mosese Voka, Eremasi Radrodro, Mesake Doge are the local players named in the starting line-up.

The Fiji versus Georgia match kicks off at 3pm at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
