Amidst all the England fans expected to turn up at Twickenham for the Rugby World Cup opener against the Vodafone Flying Fijians, there will be Fijian supporters there as well to lend their voice.

Dawson Johnson maybe small in stature but this six year old knows too well which side he will be backing tomorrow.

From an early age, Dawson has been a Fijian fan.

“The team is really good. They are very strong and have their own discipline. I have been following Fiji when I was small as they Dad has taught me a little bit of Fijian.”

His father, David Johnson, who has been in the United Kingdom for the past eight years, says it wasn’t hard to get the youngster to support Fiji as he may look English but is Fijian at heart.

With the world’s eyes on the opening match, small support from the likes of these two will sure be a big backing for the Flying Fijians at this venue.

The World Cup opening ceremony takes place at 6am before the Fiji-England match gets underway an hour later.

You can watch the match live on FBC TV and a live commentary will air on our sister stations, Bula FM and Radio Fiji One.
