Eight Suva, three Nasinu and two Lami volleyball teams make up the Super Premier and Premier teams for the inter-district games this weekend.

SVA secretary, Viliame Katia says the inter-district championship is a first for any local volleyball association and it aims to choose the best players to represent Suva.

“The core, strength and hype of the competition will be in the Super PRemier competition. teams will compete for the $500 prizemoney on offer while also looking to be part of the four teams that will represent the FBC Suva teams at the Vulaca Chammpionship.”

The women’s core teams have been split up already into suburb teams.

Games will be played on Saturday.
