High expectations for Lautoka football

“The Lautoka football side is one of the top bets at next week’s Courts Inter District Championship.”

The Blues have won the title sixteen times, only Ba has managed more with 24 wins.

Fiji Football Association Chief Executive, Mohammed Yusuf says, the sugar city side will have home crowd advantage as new inclusions are also expected to boost the team.

“Lautoka has a lot of players coming from overseas so they’ll probably have a good side with some renowned players with some foreign players as well.”

IDC kicks off next week Tuesday and Labasa faces Ba in its first match at 5.30pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Day one competition kicks off at 1pm whereby Rewa plays Dreketi, followed by Nadi versus Tavua match at 3pm and host Lautoka plays Suva at 7.30pm.
