Fiji FA gives green light for players to feature in VPL

Good news for fans as Fiji Football Association has cleared few of the players who can feature for their districts in the Vodafone Premier League this weekend.

Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf says Labasa’s application for Napolioni Qasevakatini, Ravinesh Karan Singh and Antonio Tuivuna have been cleared.

This means the trio will feature for the Babasiga Lions against Ba in the today.

Labasa’s Christopher Wasasala and Ratu Anare have also been cleared and will plays for the capital city side this season.

Yusuf says close to 21 major applications were made and they will finalize few more next week.
Meanwhile, in the VPL match today, Labasa faces Ba at 1.15pm at Subrail Park.

Three matches will be played tomorrow, all starting at 3pm, Rewa hosts Nasinu at Ratu Cakobau Park, Lautoka plays Suva at Churchill Park and Tavua meets Nadi at Garvey Park.
