Fiji will not be expressing an interest to host the 2019 Pacific Games.

FASANOC President, Joe Rodan, has confirmed this after consultations with its stakeholders on Fiji’s readiness for such an event.

Tonga was scheduled to host the 2019 games but has withdrawn from hosting it.

FASANOC has also expressed its disappointment at Tonga’s withdrawal.

Several countries including Samoa have expressed its interest to host the games.
