The Vodafone Fiji Women’s football side has made a winning start in the OFC Nations Cup qualifiers thumping Vanuatu 5-1 in their first match at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
USA’s based Trina Davis was of a class for the Fijian side as she scored a hat-trick of goals in the game while Cema Nasau and Luisa Tamanitoakula got a goal each in the game.
Fiji led 2-nil at the halftime mark.

Meanwhile, in the first match, Solomon Islands beat American Samoa 2-nil.
Fiji plays Solomon Island in its next match at 3 pm on Monday in Lautoka.
