Fiji teams ready for FANCA

The Fiji teams competing at the FANCA tournament has prepared for the event.

Fiji Muslim Sports President Mohammed Rafiq says they are expecting a lot from the Fiji teams.

“The preparations have been a bit tough with us but what we have done is organised it in such a manner so that trainings were conducted in the western as well as the southern division and we also camped. We have got a good combination which is coming off now.”

Meanwhile in the matches played today so far, Fiji under 35’s defeated Australia 3 nil while in the same grade Canada and USA played to a nil all draw.

In the Under 42 grade Australia beat Canada 1 nil while New Zealand thrashed Fiji 4 nil.

Games continue at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
