Fiji Pearls bank on experienced players

August 4, 2015 12:58 am

The Fiji Pearls netball team is banking on its experienced players to lead the charge as they begin their quest to win the World Cup, this Friday.

Coach, Kate Carpenter says the squad has a range of different types of athletes that will make an impact at the competition.

“We’ve got a blend of experience youths. Seven of them have been to the World Cup before, Mere Nailiku and Matila Waqanidrola has been to four, so that’s a huge achievement, and especially Tila because she’s only been unavailable for only one tour.”
