The Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber believes the team has begun to give results in the World Rugby Sevens Series.

This after Fiji won the Hamilton tournament beating South Africa 24-17 in the final.

Baber says the team has been going through a transition period since last year.

“It’s tough and obviously, the Fiji 7s team has achieved great things but there was a transition in place. After the Olympics, there are a couple of players who are left. We are now getting the feel of winning the tight games like this.”

Meanwhile, Hamilton 7s win is Baber’s second win in the series after the Hong Kong 7s last year.
