The Vodafone Fiji Bati nines squad is eyeing Pacific Games hosts, Papua New Guinea as their toughest opponents for the gold medal.

Bati coach, Maika Vunivere says the Kumuls will be fielding players that featured for the PNG Hunters side in the Queensland Cup competition in Australia this year.

“We are also looking at Tonga and Samoa. These three countries will be giving us a good battle. Papua New Guinea will be bringing their Q-Cup squad but we are going there for gold.”
