The Fiji Barbarians sevens team lost to Australia Gold 19-17, in the cup final of the Central Coast sevens tournament.

The Babas thrashed their Fijian brothers and defending champions Uluinakau in the quarter-final 45-0 and beating Tabadamu in the semi-final 28-14.

Meanwhile Tabadamu scooped third place beating Pio Tuwai’s Stallion side 26-21.

In the women’s category, Fijiana scooped the Plate final beating Sunnybanks 24-7.
