The Fiji 7’s team is feeling the pressure of going into the Olympic Games as the number one seeded team.

The Ben Ryan coached side is trying it’s best to use this to their advantage.

“The team has always provided the right outcomes. We will be put under more pressure and it’s going to be slapping our face for three days because we going in as heavy Gold medal favorites and I think that is something we can use positively because the boy’s still know that 7’s is a game that you earn your results and you earn your wins.”

Fiji faces Argentina, USA and Brazil in pool play and the national mentor knows no team can be taken lightly.

Fiji takes on Brazil in its first match at 4.30am on 10th of August.
