December 5, 2015 12:11 am

The Vodafone Fiji 7’s side will look to continue with the good work shown in some areas of the game which they showed on Day One of the Dubai 7’s yesterday.

The Ben Ryan coached side was a class above the rest when it came to offloads and kick off retention.

Fiji’s offloading skills was an eye catcher on the first day with lanky Pio Tuwai leading the way.

Jasa Veremalua has become a trademark during kick offs with his runs from his own 10-meter line which helped the side retain majority of their restarts.

Goal kicking was also a plus sign for the Fijians with Vatemo Ravouvou converting all 16 tries scored on the first day.

Fiji opened their campaign on a high with a 63-14 drubbing of Canada.
The side then had to rely on a last gasp try to Savenaca Rawaca to clinch a 21-17 win over Japan before overcoming Argentina 28-nil in their last pool match.

Fiji plays Australia in the first Cup Quarter-final at 8pm tonight after which New Zealand plays Samoa at 8.22pm.

England plays Argentina at 8.44pm while in the last quarter final at 9.06pm South Africa plays USA.

The Bowl quarter-finals begin at 6.30pm.
